Founder & CEO
Raised in San Francisco's Haight-Ashbury, Tyranny Allen earned a marketing degree at Cal State Long Beach and spent years as a member of the hip-hop group Digital Underground before turning his eye for culture into a branding career.
Today he runs a family of Oakland businesses across creative branding, food service, barbershops and the arts: Lucky's Barber Shop at Swan's Market, the Beast Mode Barbershop he co-owns with Marshawn Lynch, Winky Dinky Dogs, Bread Winners and the Tyranny Allen Gallery.
Through all of it, he uses his platform to lift up African-American and local Bay Area businesses.
